Are compatible toner cartridges inferior to the original (OEM) cartridge?
No, not at all. Some vendors may only drill and refill cartridges with toner. This practice can cause problems with streaking, ghosting and sometimes leaking. At CRS Printek, our vendors completely disassemble, test, inspect and replace, as needed, every component of each cartridge that we manufacture with high quality parts and toner. They use ASTM methods to determine the best toner/drum combinations. Then they test each cartridge in the specific printer. Beware of buying the lowest priced cartridges.
