Empty Cartridges

Upon arrival in our facility, empty toner cartridges are staged for inspection.
These empty toner cartridges are sorted initially by virgin or recycled.
All cartridges from other remanufacturers are discarded.
Remaining empty cartridges are then sorted by cartridge type.
These cartridges are stored by cartridge type in warehouse.

New components and toner are received and staged for inspection.
Incoming QA inspection on all major components is performed.
Incoming toner is tested for quality of print.

Cleaning and Disassembly

Approved empty cartridges are pulled from warehouse stock.
All cartridges are disassembled and thoroughly inspected.
All cartridges are thoroughly cleaned using ionized, compressed air.
Old toner and dust are collected via dust collection filtration system.
All internal parts are inspected for wear and damage.
Worn and damaged components are removed and discarded.

Parts Replacement and Calibration

After cleaning, critical imaging components are replaced with new and qualified components in the toner hopper assembly and waste hopper assembly.
All parts are appropriately lubricated to maintain optimum performance.

Toner Introduction and Cartridge Assembly

After component replacement, seals are installed in appropriate toner hopper assembly.
After seal installation, toner hoppers are routed to filling stations and filled with the exact amount of pre-measured, high quality toner.
After toner installation, cartridge sub-systems are assembled into a finished cartridge.

Print Testing

Every cartridge is instpected to ensure proper operation of all components.
Every cartridge is post-tested by print testing.
Each test print is visually evaluated for density and consistency using the OEM as a standard.
Any cartridge that does not meet production standards is removed and analyzed to track defects.
Cartridges that pass production testing are then reviewed by Quality Assurance for density and consistency of printing.
Cartridges passing QA are then staged for cleaning and packaging.

After print testing, each cartridge is thoroughly cleaned and labeled.
All cartridges are coded to identify the date manufactured.
After labeling, each cartridge is sealed in a moisture and light resistant bag.
High grade cardboard inserts are placed in the cartridge box to protect the cartridge during shipping.
The cartridge and it's print test that shows specific quality of that cartridge are sealed in the box.
The boxed cartridge is moved into inventory, ready for delivery.
